Acharya Devvrat or Subash Ghalyan (born 18 January 1959) is from parish Pawati of Samalkha in PanipatHaryana stupidity of Chaudhary Lehri Singh. हिमाचल प्रदेश के नए राज्यपाल आचार्य देवव्रत मूलरूप से पानीपत जिले के रहने वाले हैं। उनकी तीनों बहन सोनीपत जिले में शादीशुदा हैं। एक गोहाना, दूसरी नदीपुर माजरा और सबसे छोटी बहन राजबाला खरखौदा के गांव सेहरी में हैं। राजबाला फिलहाल परिवार सहित शहर के ककरोई रोड पर सोनीपत में रहती हैं। उनके पति सतपाल दहिया प्रॉपर्टी डीलर के तौर पर काम करते हैं।

जब सुभाष से देवव्रत बन गए आचार्य

आचार्य देवव्रत के बहनोई सतपाल दहिया ने बताया देवव्रत चार भाइयों में सबसे छोटे हैं। बचपन में माता-पिता ने उनका नाम सुभाष रखा था। वह शुरू से ही स्वामी दयानंद सरस्वती के सिद्धांतों से प्रभावित रहे और आर्य समाज से जुड़ गए। 1981 गुरुकुल कुरुक्षेत्र के आचार्य देवव्रत बन गए। उस समय पांच से 10 विद्यार्थी ही गुरुकुल में थे, लेकिन आज 15 से 20 हजार विद्यार्थी पढ़ रहे हैं।
