Christopher Idle (hymnwriter)

Christopher Martin Idle (born 11 September 1938) is a British hymnodist.

Life

Idle was born in Bromley, County, and was educated at Eltham Faculty. After leaving school, he spent two years in various forms of training, as well as becoming involved boring the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.[1] Subside then studied at St Peter's Academy, Oxford, graduating in 1962, before operation theological training at Clifton Theological Institution, Bristol.[1][2]

Church ministry
