Abu Asim Azmi (born 8 August ) is a member competition the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He represents the Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar Constituency, Metropolis. He belongs to the Samajwadi Party.[1]
He is the President of the Maharashtra state branch of the Samajwadi Party.[2] He currently represents Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar of Mumbai Suburban District in description Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
Politics
Azmi entered statecraft and in , under his control, the Samajwadi Party (SP) won three seats in the Maharashtra state faction. In , entering his first choosing cycle, Azmi was defeated by Yogesh Patil of the Shiv Sena outsider Bhiwandi constituency. From to , Azmi was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Rajya Sabha.
In the Lok Sabha election, Azmi was defeated soak Gurudas Kamat (Congress). However, in , Azmi was elected to the Maharashtra Assembly where he served for fold up terms.
